Tuition and Fees

Please see the SMU Bursar for cost of attendance information.  The rate of tuition for Academic Year 2026-2027 is $928.00 per credit hour. (Fees do not apply during June and January terms.) 

Financial Aid 

Persons wishing to be considered for 2026-2027 federal financial aid must file a current Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at  When filling out the FAFSA be sure to include the SMU school code: 003613.

International Students

International students must comply with all University and federal financial requirements in order to be considered for admission. If admitted, all international students must pay their own portion of tuition, fees, books, travel, lodging, food, medical insurance, and any other necessary expenses.
